We Teach Our Kids to Fess Up So I Will, Too. And Then I’ll Ask an Important Question

I used to be so passionate about blogging, both here and in my Grateful Girl space. And then Gratitude Generation came to life in such a huge and magical way that blogging about my experiences after our programs and recapping for those of you who were not there became a daunting task.

And, frankly, after we’d finish one rock-star event, we’d roll right into the next. And I confess: I live in the moment of Gratitude Generation’s success. When I’m at an event, I live it, I breath it, I cherish it and I’m grateful for it. And then… I move on to the next! I haven’t been taking the time to reflect personally, or publicly here in this space. And for that, I’m sorry.

I think I’ll wait a month or two and write a reflective 2019 blog that will remind you all of our incredible moments, including our first anniversary party (and my birthday!) where so many of you showed up to support us, the launch of our Mitzvah Team (we’re ready for you, kids!), monthly programs with Ronald McDonald House and Food Warriors, our incredible Kids’ Board events, our Glow! Curriculum and so much more. Can you see why I plan, participate, love and move on?
Well, there is a way YOU CAN HELP all of us slow down, enjoy the joy and success of Gratitude Generation and experience the glow a little more deeply yourself.

Will you please volunteer? Yes, YOU! We have an incredible, albeit small, foundation of leaders and worker bees bringing Gratitude Generation to life each day. But we need help, and we want to add YOU to this crew.

We have something for everyone, and we even have a list of ‘jobs’ so that those of you toying with the idea of taking a step further into our awe-inspiring organization should rest assured: You won’t be thrown into something that doesn’t excite you, tap into a skillset or inspire gratitude and thus an overall sense of happiness.

Yep, it’s for real: You’ll be happier when you help with Gratitude Generation!

So are you good with numbers? Do you know how to use design programs? Master of all things social media? Simply just organized? Simply just creative? Love a good spreadsheet? Wanting to help on the day-of but can’t commit for the lead-up? Take pictures? Make connections? Go shopping?

See, we do have something for everyone, and we need some more of YOU.

I’ll commit here and now to blogging more, sharing my insight and inspiring you so that when you’re ready (make it today!), you’re ready with a great sense of who we are and what we’re doing.
And please don’t be fearful, skeptical or nervous to over-commit. We’re all juggling a million things, and we know to give and take what we can, and to find the ‘perfect’ jobs for people who want them.
So here and now I fess up to slacking on my blog, and I ask you this important question: Will YOU step into the Gratitude Generation world and help with something? We ask with gratitude and we ask with confidence that you’ll be grateful you did.

Post on our Facebook page, message any one of us on the Board or send a carrier pigeon to let us know you’re IN!
With gratitude.
